This is almost double the funding of the program that preceded it in the period 2014-2020. For the period 2021-2027, the program places particular emphasis on social inclusion, green and digital transitions, and fostering the participation of young people in democratic life. It supports the priorities and activities established in the European Education Area, the Digital Education Action Plan and the European Skills Agenda. The Erasmus+ program is administered by the European Commission (executive body of the EU), the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) and a number of national agencies in the Program Countries and some Associated Countries.<\/p>\n<p>Erasmus+ is open to many people and organisations, although admission criteria vary by action and country. Individuals can take part in many opportunities funded by Erasmus+, although most do so through an organization participating in the programme. Admission criteria for individuals and organizations depend on the country where they are located. Eligible countries are divided into two groups: Program Countries and Associated Countries.
