The Fund aims to further boost national capacities and improve procedures for migration management, as well as to enhance solidarity and responsibility sharing between Member States, in particular through emergency assistance and the relocation mechanism.<\/p>\n<p>AMIF will contribute to the achievement of\u00a0<strong>four specific objectives<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>to strengthen and develop all aspects of the\u00a0<strong>common European asylum system<\/strong>, including its external dimension<\/li>\n<li>to support\u00a0<strong>legal migration<\/strong>\u00a0to the Member States, including by contributing to the integration of third-country nationals<\/li>\n<li>to contribute to\u00a0<strong>countering irregular migration<\/strong>\u00a0and ensuring effectiveness of return and readmission in third countries<\/li>\n<li>to\u00a0<strong>enhance solidarity\u00a0<\/strong>and responsibility sharing between the Member States, in particular towards those most affected by migration and asylum challenges<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ecl-u-mb-2xl\">\n<div class=\"ecl\">\n<p><strong>Actions<\/strong>\u00a0funded through AMIF can include a wide range of initiatives, such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ensuring a uniform\u00a0<strong>application of the EU \u201cacquis\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0(common set of rules) and priorities related to the Common European Asylum System, legal migration and return<\/li>\n<li>providing\u00a0<strong>support and services<\/strong>\u00a0consistent with the status and the needs of the person concerned, in particular vulnerable groups<\/li>\n<li>supporting\u00a0<strong>resettlement, humanitarian admission and transfers<\/strong>\u00a0of applicants for and beneficiaries of international protection<\/li>\n<li>supporting the development and implementation of policies\u00a0<strong>promoting legal migration<\/strong>, such as the development of mobility schemes to the EU and raising awareness of the appropriate legal channels for immigration<\/li>\n<li><strong>supporting integration measures<\/strong>\u00a0tailored to the needs of third-country nationals and early integration programmes focusing on education, language and other training (such as civic orientation courses and professional guidance) to prepare their active participation in and their acceptance by the receiving society<\/li>\n<li>supporting\u00a0<strong>infrastructures for the reception<\/strong>\u00a0of third country nationals, including the possible joint use of such facilities by more than one Member State<\/li>\n<li>supporting an integrated and coordinated approach to\u00a0<strong>return management<\/strong>\u00a0at the EU and Member States\u2019 level, development of capacities for effective and sustainable return and reducing incentives for irregular migration<\/li>\n<li>supporting assisted\u00a0<strong>voluntary return and reintegration<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>cooperating with third countries<\/strong>\u00a0on asylum, legal migration and countering irregular migration and on effective return and readmission for the purpose of managing role=\"presentation\">\n<div class=\"tab-content\">\n<div id=\"procedimiento\" class=\"tab-pane rl_tabs-pane nn_tabs-pane orange active\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"tab-procedimiento\" aria-hidden=\"false\">\n<p>AMIF is implemented under <a class=\"ecl-link\" href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/funding-tenders\/find-funding\/funding-management-mode_en#shared-management\">shared<\/a>, <a class=\"ecl-link\" href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/funding-tenders\/find-funding\/funding-management-mode_en#direct-management\">direct<\/a>\u00a0or <a class=\"ecl-link\" href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/funding-tenders\/find-funding\/funding-management-mode_en#indirect-management\">indirect management<\/a>. The largest share\u00a0will be allocated to the\u00a0national programmes under shared management.Building on the implementation of the 2014-2020 multi-annual financial framework, the Fund will introduce more flexibility with partof the funding dedicated to a\u00a0<strong>Thematic Facility<\/strong>. With this instrument, funds can be allocated to emerging or unforeseen needs and steered towards the changing EU priorities and evolving challenges.<\/p>\n<p>Funding under the\u00a0<strong>Thematic Facility<\/strong>\u00a0will be allocated during the programming period through:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Shared management: including\u00a0resettlement and humanitarian admission,\u00a0transfers of bene\ufb01ciaries of\/applicants for international protection.<\/li>\n<li>Direct management: including\u00a0Union Actions,\u00a0Emergency Assistance, support for local and regional authorities in\u00a0integration.<\/li>\n<li>Indirect management: including\u00a0Union Actions\u00a0and\u00a0Emergency Assistance\u00a0through international organisations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Union Actions<\/strong> comprise Calls for Proposals, procurement, direct awards and delegation agreements.
