The specific objectives of this call for proposals are to promote and foster a better understanding among the general public and stakeholders of the role of Cohesion policy in supporting all EU's regions; to increase awareness of projects funded by the EU, and to encourage dialogue and debate on Cohesion policy, its results, its role in delivering on the EU's political priorities and on its future.<\/p>\n<p>The European Commission co-finances projects to inform the public about the common agricultural policy (CAP). Projects can include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>TV features on agriculture and innovation;<\/li>\n<li>farm visits;<\/li>\n<li>information campaigns;<\/li>\n<li>audiovisual and media activities;<\/li>\n<li>apps for smartphones and tablets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Procedure<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Any person or legal entity such as associations or national authorities can participate in the call for proposal, published once a year. European rules set out two aims for all information measures:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>to explain and raise awareness on the EU support to agriculture and rural development through the CAP;<\/li>\n<li>to engage with farmers and other actors in rural areas, and for them to further communicate to their constituencies and the wider public about the CAP.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Commission's contribution will amount to a maximum of 50% of the total eligible costs. Exceptionally, this percentage may be increased to 75%. Financing applications must be submitted using a special form available at the indicated Internet address.
