It provides support for the process of designing, reforming and implementing public policy, focusing its action on the areas of gender equality, democratic governance and social policy.<\/p>\n<h4>CALLS<\/h4>\n<p>They are published periodically on the <a href=\"https:\/\/webgate.ec.europa.eu\/europeaid\/online-services\/index.cfm?ADSSChck=1655980020455&amp;do=publi.welcome&amp;searchtype=QS&amp;nbPubliList=15&amp;orderbyad=Desc&amp;orderby=upd&amp;userlanguage=es\">EuropeAid<\/a>\u00a0website.<\/p>\n<h4>LEGAL BASIS<\/h4>\n<p>Regulation 1905\/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 December 2006 establishing a financing instrument for development cooperation | <a href=\"http:\/\/data.europa.eu\/eli\/reg\/2006\/1905\/oj\">OJ L 378\/41, 27.12.2006<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>DOCUMENTS<\/h4>\n<p>EUROSocial+, Euro-LatinAmerican dialogue on Public Policies | <a href=\"https:\/\/eurosocial.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Brochure_eurosocial_2021EN.pdf\">brochure<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Conoce EUROsociAL+\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/emCykhkIVBQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>General Information<\/strong><\/p>\n<section class=\"article-body\">\n<div class=\"rl_tabs nn_tabs outline_handles outline_content top align_left has_effects\" role=\"presentation\">\n<div class=\"tab-content\">\n<div id=\"informacion-general\" class=\"tab-pane rl_tabs-pane nn_tabs-pane orange active\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"tab-informacion-general\" aria-hidden=\"false\">\n<p>This is a programme, funded by the European Commission, which for the past 10 years has been providing a space for peer-to-peer learning and experience exchange between counterpart institutions of the two regions, favouring the use of a broad catalogue of tools relevant to each process.<\/p>\n<p>Through an inclusive and multidimensional understanding of social cohesion, centred around the concept of welfare based on equal opportunity, a sense of belonging and solidarity, EUROsociAL,<br \/>\nin its two first phases, has contributed to the formulation and enhancement of public policies, institutional capacity building, and the establishment of important international commitments.<\/p>\n<p>In this third phase (2016-2021), EUROsociAL+ intends to provide continuity to its policy mandate through follow-up of the processes started and the results obtained in previous years; furthermore, it intends to support new priorities of the Governments agenda, promoting the integration of the gender perspective in all its actions.<\/p>\n<p>EUROsociAL+ focusses on the implications and effects that the design, formulation and implementation of public policies have on women and men, emphasizing the need for policies and programmes in all areas to address this focus in order to gradually contribute to reducing inequality and generate a positive impact on social cohesion.<\/p>\n<p>In this phase, 19 countries of Latin America participate in EUROsociAL+: <em>Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela and Dominican Republic<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Procedure<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Types of actions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2013 <em>Specific actions<\/em> in favor of Latin American public administrations;<br \/>\n\u2013 <em>Transversal actions<\/em> of programming, coordination, monitoring, evaluation and animation, in charge of the Programming and Coordination Committee of EUROsociAL.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants must meet the following requirements to be eligible for a grant: be a legal entity and not for profit; have its headquarters in an EU country and be expressly designated by the competent authority of its country as the entity that represents the country in the execution and management of EUROsociAL; belong to one of the following categories: cooperation agencies, entities whose institutional vocation is to establish cooperation relations and\/or provide technical assistance to LA public administrations, entities with a recognized track record of institutional cooperation with LA; act as a representative of a \"consortium\" already constituted or in the process of being constituted.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants must necessarily act within the framework of a consortium already established or in the process of being established with \"Partner\" organizations. There will be two types of partners: Coordinating Partners and Operating Partners. Applications must be submitted following the instructions on the concept note and the full application form on the program website. Applicants may submit their application in one of the following languages: English, French, Spanish or Portuguese.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that prior registration in <a href=\"https:\/\/webgate.ec.europa.eu\/europeaid\/pador\">PADOR<\/a> is mandatory for applicants and their partners for the purposes of this call for proposals.
