EMOVE, the European News Content Strand | Multimedia Actions

EMOVE is a proposal coordinated by Arte, in collaboration with 13 media partners. It aims to produce two strands of video formats in 10 languages: the “European News Content Strand” (with a weekly news show based in the ongoing European Collection by ARTE) and the “European Insights Strand” (60 videos reportages covering the issues that are driving Europe). It aims to reach around 50 million people through its video production.

The consortium is composed of ARTE from France (coordinator), El País from Spain, Gazeta Wyborcza from Poland, Internazionale from Italy, Kathimerini from Greece, Le Soir from Belgium, Telex.hu from Hungary, ir.lv from Latvia, BIRN hub (several local organisations in the Balknans), ORF from Austria, RTBF from Belgium, Arte Deutschland (from Germany), RTVE from Spain and SSR SRG from Switzerland.

EU funding: €3.85 million. Duration: 24 months (from 2 April 2024).
