The EIF and Enisa sign a guarantee agreement worth €40 million to facilitate access to finance for Spanish SMEs and startups that stand out for their innovative profile. The European institution's investment will enable Enisa to mobilise approximately €40 million to finance innovation and boost SMEs and startups in Spain. The operation is backed by InvestEU, the European Union programme aimed at mobilising investments worth more than €372 billion until 2027.
The European Investment Fund (EIF) has signed a guarantee agreement of up to €40 million with the National Innovation Company (Enisa) to facilitate access to financing for innovative SMEs and startups in Spain.
This agreement will allow Enisa to mobilise approximately €40 million to finance projects of R&I-intensive companies that are in the early stages of development or are just starting their business activity. The agreement will thus reduce the barriers to access to financing faced by these types of companies.
