Spain is the third country that has obtained the third largest grant in the first years of Horizon Europe

Spain has consolidated its position as the leader in collaborative R&D&I projects, and the second in number of participations.

Spanish entities have obtained 3,416.9 million euros in the calls awarded in the first three years of Horizon Europe, the European Union's Framework Programme for Research and Innovation for the period 2021-2027. Spain is the third country that has obtained the largest grant, with a return rate of 11.7% EU-27 (10.7%), behind Germany and France, surpassing the goals achieved in previous editions of the Framework Programme.
