The European Commission has today announced the winners of the 2025 European Innovative Teaching Awards. 117 teachers and schools from more than 30 countries — both inside and outside the EU — have been recognised for their projects under Erasmus+.

With these awards, the Commission recognises educators who use innovative, interactive and inclusive teaching and learning approaches, paving the way for a more promising future for the next generations. The winners are teachers and schools that have excelled in promoting active citizenship. They have shown how they equip pupils of all ages with the skills needed to participate actively in public life and promote EU values such as freedom, solidarity and inclusion.

The winners will have the opportunity to share best practices with a wider audience at a dedicated European Innovative Teaching Award 2025 event, which will take place on 8-9 December in Brussels and online. The winning projects will be presented on various platforms: the European Prize for Innovative Teaching website, the Erasmus+ social media channels, the European Education Area portal and the European School Education Platform.
