The European Commission has today opened nominations for the European Young Entrepreneurs Award, which aims to highlight innovative initiatives by young people across Europe. The award will give young innovators access to valuable mentoring and funding opportunities. 

The final presentations will take place on 5 June at the European Industry Days in Rzeszów, Poland. The finalists will present their projects to industry leaders, policy makers and potential investors from across Europe. The ten finalists will receive personalised guidance and resources worth up to €20,000. This support includes advice from industry experts, access to professional networks and practical tools to develop their ideas and ensure their long-term success.

The European Young Entrepreneurs Award is a competition celebrating innovation and entrepreneurship across all sectors. Open to entrepreneurs under the age of 40 from a variety of backgrounds, the competition aims to equip start-ups and innovators with the skills, knowledge and resources they need to thrive in an increasingly competitive economic landscape. Applicants are invited to submit projects that correspond to EU priorities, such as sustainability, digital transformation and positive social impact. Registration is open until 14 March.
