The Monitoring Committee of the Interreg Spain-Portugal Programme (POCTEP) has approved the terms of the 8th call for projects for the 2021–2027 period. This call aims to support cross-border cooperation initiatives that foster integrated and inclusive local development in non-urban areas, addressing social, economic, environmental, cultural, tourism, and security issues.

The application period will open on 16 June 2025 and remain open until 12 September 2025. Applications must be submitted exclusively through the Interreg platform (CoFFEE environment) by 2:00 p.m. (Spanish mainland time) on the deadline date. Subsequently extended until 30 September 2025.

To support project preparation, POCTEP provides a range of guidance materials, including manuals, templates, and indicator guides. These resources are designed to help applicants prepare strong project proposals aligned with the programme’s goals. Interested entities are strongly encouraged to carefully review the terms and use the available support materials to ensure a successful project submission.
