Programme for the Environment and Climate Action (LIFE)

The Environment and Climate Action Program (LIFE) (2021-2027) aims to contribute to the change towards a sustainable, circular, energy efficient economy, based on renewable energies, climate neutral and resilient to climate change, to protect, restore and improve the quality of the environment, including air, water and soil, and to halt and reverse biodiversity loss and address ecosystem degradation, including by supporting implementation and management of the Natura 2000 network, thus contributing to sustainable development.
