Interreg POCTEP https://poctep.eu/
The POCTEP 2021-2027 program has been prepared by the governments of Spain and Portugal in order to address key challenges in the border area between the two countries.
For its drafting, the previous diagnosis of the current situation of the cooperation area, the strategic references that affect it, the principles of association and multilevel governance and the results of the strategic environmental assessment have been taken into account. The program was approved by the European Commission on August 22, 2022 and has already published a summary of the program and the corresponding calls.
Interreg Europe https://www.interregeurope.eu/ It is the program that helps regional and local governments to develop and offer better policies in areas ranging from research and innovation to environmental protection and decarbonisation, as well as the competitiveness of companies and SMEs. It is part of the interregional cooperation chapter.
Interreg Sudoe https://www.interreg-sudoe.eu/
It is the transnational cooperation program of southwestern Europe, with the participation, for Spain, of all its communities and its autonomous cities (except the Canary Islands). The program tries to act on the problems common to these regions, such as low investment in research and development, low competitiveness of small and medium-sized companies, and exposure to climate change and environmental risks.
The calls for this program are announced on the program's institutional portal and are managed on its own portal. The calls are usually opened on some of the priority axes –and not the five axes at the same time–, so it is important to know the calendar.
Interreg Med https://interreg-med.eu/

The number of partner countries is fourteen (9 members of the EU, the United Kingdom and 4 candidates for accession to the Union) and the number of regions, 66.
